Studio City Post and Beam

With no square inch left untouched, this property was transformed to become a veritable jewel, nestled against Fryman Canyon in Studio City. In an effort to restore the classic post-and-beam home, brimming with potential but laden with layers - and decades - of design missteps, we approached our Duque project with the intention of infusing the space with both classic mid century elements and contemporary flair. The home was stripped down to bare bones and given a thoughtful layout, fresh finishes, and an overall timeless air. The revised exterior finishes, hardscaping, and landscaping have allowed the home to once again beam with pride atop the knoll on which it sits.
