A stone's throw from the renowned Rose Bowl, this traditional California ranch house is wonderfully situated in the Linda Vista neighborhood of Pasadena. Without taking away from the home's classic aesthetic, the focus of the project was to infuse a more bohemian, rustic quality, akin to that of the Ojai Valley. An extensive reworking of the common spaces, to allow for more flow and openness, was also of utmost importance. Both the rustic and refined elements of the new design lend itself to a quintessential Californian experience.
